The Center for Peace Studies (CPS) will engage non-resident research fellows who will contribute voluntarily in a strategic and supervisory capacity. These fellows, drawn from diverse academic and professional backgrounds, will play a pivotal role in guiding signature projects, such as the Strategic Peace Index, and other key research initiatives. They will provide mentorship to undergraduate fellows and research interns, ensuring high-quality data analysis, innovative methodologies, and impactful policy outputs. Working remotely, these fellows will leverage their expertise to strengthen CPS’s research agenda while fostering a collaborative environment for students and junior researchers.
To attract and recognize exceptional talent, CPS will introduce honorary fellowships, which confer prestige and institutional affiliation, even though they are unpaid roles. This initiative will allow fellows, including those based in the U.S., Canada, and Europe, to be meaningfully integrated into the Center’s activities. By associating with CPS’s high-impact research and policy engagement, these non-resident fellows will gain visibility and academic recognition while contributing to the Center’s mission of advancing peace, security, and strategic studies across South Asia and beyond.
