CPS Dialogue 2025 I “One year On: Revisiting the Role of Youth and Bangladesh’s Transition Towards Democracy”
The Center for Peace Studies (CPS) at North South University, in collaboration with the Arnold Bergstraesser Institute (ABI) and the Heinrich Böll Foundation (HBS) in Germany, organized a three-day Photo Exhibition and a Dialogue on the July Revolution on August 6, 2025, at NSU’s campus. Prominent young political leaders, scholars, youth activists and students, families of July Martyrs, journalists, artists, and civil society members participated in the events.
Through an engaging dialogue and powerful photo exhibition, CPS Dialogue 2025 paid tribute to the July Martyrs while reflecting on their legacy. The event amplified the voices of youth, highlighting their vital role in shaping Bangladesh’s democratic future.
At the Center for Peace Studies (CPS), North South University, we are dedicated to advancing the academic study of peace, conflict resolution, and social resilience. Our center serves as a hub for interdisciplinary research, dialogue, and collaboration with local and global partners to promote evidence-based solutions for building sustainable peace.
